Marawa Cinnamon is grown in the Marawa Estate in southern coastal region of Sri Lanka - Kekanadura, Matara since 1919. One of the most historically renowned cinnamon-growing areas in the world. With Handmade Tea sourced from a Single Tea Estate in Mathugama & Premium Spices sourced from the central highland regions of Sri Lanka.

Marawa Cinnamon uses true Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), hand-harvested from our estate in Southern Sri Lanka. It’s lighter in colour, sweeter in taste, and contains low coumarin levels, making it safer and healthier than Cassia cinnamon, commonly found in supermarkets worldwide.

Unlike mass-produced spices, Marawa products are handcrafted in small batches, ensuring quality, traceability, and integrity. We use only true Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) and other natural ingredients, with no fillers, no synthetic additives, and a deep respect for the land and its people.

We work directly with local farmers and estate workers, ensuring fair wages and ethical practices. Our cultivation is chemical-free and eco-conscious, and our packaging is minimal, recyclable, or compostable.
